JOIN IN ON THE FUN

This inter-school competition is open to all schools, and there are 3 public races (long, sprint & rogaine) so parents and spectators can join in. If you don't want to go out for a walk / run with a map – we are always looking for volunteers to help on the day – your support makes a big difference! Fill-in the form link below:

Peninsula & Plains Orienteers​

PAPO is the Canterbury Orienteering club based in Christchurch with members as far afield as: Timaru, Ashburton, Geraldine, Rangiora and Hanmer Springs.  We are a friendly bunch of volunteers who aim to promote orienteering and encourage navigation using maps for fun and competition.

In 1900 a group of principals and teachers came together to ensure their students had access to sporting opportunities within their school days. This group was set up and continued for many years, and in various iterations, with the good of the young people at its core.
